In this role, you will take a hands-on approach and manage a solid team in the design, development, improvement and enhancement of products, materials, and associated tooling. Apply your ability and ingenuity and succeed with this stellar companyKey responsibilities includeProvide planning and coordination of all relevant activities including direct responsibility for managing technical personnel, costs, methods, schedules, projects, etc.Lead the activities of the ProductApplications Engineering group in a high energy development and manufacturing environmentDirect the Engineering portion of the Product Life-cycle PLC through manufacturing release of new products, working closely with marketing to clearly understand the product specifications, and market requirementsLead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projectsResearch and develop tooling for various products Write equipment specifications, qualification plans and procedures for acquisitions of new equipment determine Return on Investment ROI for project justificationLead and support a culture of safety, environmental responsibility and performance improvement. Knowledge SkillsBachelors Degree in Engineering required, BSME preferred10 years Engineering Management experienceSolid experience in Project Management is very desirableProficiency in 3-D CAD software ISO procedures is a mustStrong lean and continuous improvement experience with implementation experienceMust be self-motivated with strong initiative, as well as solid and proven decision-making and problem-solving skillsAble to effectively multi-task in a fasted paced settingProven leadershipmentor experience in a team environment Excellent verbalwritten communication and people skills You will enjoy working and growing professionally with this solid, vigorous organization.
